PU4 is intended for use with MicaFlex PFTT or PFA-PU version 3.x. Its purpose is to keep connected probes or pressure taps free from clogging in processes where the flow is full of particles or there is a risk of condensation.
Blowing is done with connected compressed air (max 8 bar) and takes place in intervals between 30 and 3600 seconds. Each blowdown cycle is between 0 and 60 seconds. During the blowdown, the output of the controlling transmitter is frozen to avoid sequential effects in regulated systems.
