Micatrone's acid-proof steel flow measurement probe, MFS-SS, is now manufactured in lengths up to 2,500 mm compared to the previous 1,600 mm. This enables flow measurement of hot or aggressive air in larger duct dimensions than before. The MFS-SS is made to order to customer specifications and can be fitted with a Swagelok coupling, brass compression fitting or other connection on request, in addition to the standard 8/6 plastic hose coupling.
Long measuring probes (over 800 mm) always need to be mounted with a bottom support to be stable in the channel. Micatrone provides several dimensions of welding sleeves and bottom supports for this purpose.
